Host Venue: Arena Armeec
The Arena Armeec was built in 2011. The main function of the sports hall is to provide Bulgarian athletes with the best conditions to perform sport activities. The design of the hall responds to all regulations of the international federations and their rules to organize World and European Championships as well as high level commercial tournaments.
The Arena has welcome more than 25 different sports: Aerobics, Basketball, Boxing, Badminton, Weight Lifting, Volleyball, Karate-do, Gymnastics (artistic and rhythmic), Handball, Judo, Sumo, Table Tennis, Tennis, Fencing and Chess, to name a few. The hall also offers plenty of opportunities for a wide variety of cultural events.
When hosting a concert, the telescopic stands can be entirely or partially folded. Additional chairs can be added, as well as stands. Stages or podiums can be built in every zone of the arena. During large events, the hall capacity can be extended up to 17’906 seats (with stands). The adjacent hall spaces can be used for revues or exhibitions.
